Kindred Roots Therapy

Kindred Roots Therapy is a collective of therapists with a social work and psychology background. Kindred Roots aims to redefine the traditional therapy experience into one that is more warm and laid back.

Claire (she/her) is a therapist currently living on the Sunshine Coast BC and is able to provide virtual therapy services to all residents of British Columbia and Alberta. An in-person space on the Coast is currently in the works. Claire has her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of British Columbia, and is currently a registered social worker (RSW) with both the Alberta College of Social Workers and British Columbia College of Social Workers. Claire has worked as a transition worker for youth aging out of care, a hospital social worker in acute care, a therapist in Child & Youth Mental Health, a therapist in Adult Mental Health, and in Substance Use services. Her broad range of work experience allows for a holistic and flexible approach.
