Samantha Cheng (RCC, she/her) offers individual counselling services for adults and youth (14+) who may be navigating life transitions, experiencing grief and loss, or exploring questions of meaning and identity. Samantha truly believes that feeling seen and heard is a crucial part of the human experience, and foundational in allowing individuals to foster their own sense of belonging and significance in the world. It is her passion for this process that drew me to this field, and it is her joy to witness individuals embarking on journeys of discovery that lead to greater abilities to move, act, and speak from an authentic and integrated place that acknowledges and honours their voices, needs, and experiences. With a passion for social justice, and rooted in a strengths-based, collaborative approach, Samantha sees her work as an opportunity to join with others on their journey to discover all that they already are, and to further support them to become who they would like to be. more info

Run to Quit pairs the quitting expertise of the Canadian Cancer Society with Running Room’s learn to walk or run 5km clinics. The program greatly increases a person’s chances of quitting smoking while raising their physical activity level.more info

Provides outpatient individual and group counselling for people with mental health and/or addiction problems. Services include: assessments, treatment planning, crisis response services, short-term counselling, employment and education support, referrals to other supports and resources such as detox and treatment centres, wellness groups, psychiatrist consultation, and education to community groups and events. Offers free, confidential one-to-one counselling to women who have experienced violence of any kind, including family violence, sexual assault, or historical abuse (including sexual abuse). Referral not required. Offered in Gibsons and Sechelt.more info
