Short Description (100 words)

The Preston Method™ is a structured, assessment-based movement program for adults managing chronic pain, neurological conditions (Parkinson’s, MS), or deconditioning following illness, surgery, or physiotherapy discharge. Every program begins with a comprehensive movement assessment before any exercise is prescribed. Clients receive an individualized program, exercise cards, caregiver guidance, and regular check-ins. Delivered at home or remotely. Non-clinical. Operates alongside medical care, physiotherapy, chiropractic, and kinesiology. Referrals welcome from all healthcare providers.

Full Description

The Preston Method™ is a neuro-informed movement methodology that bridges the gap between clinical rehabilitation and general fitness.  Most training systems assume the body is ready for exercise. The Preston Method™ makes sure it is.  The program is designed for adults who have completed physiotherapy but are not yet ready for general fitness, and for those managing ongoing neurological conditions or chronic pain who need structured, progressive movement support at home. It operates in the space after clinical care ends — providing continuity, reassessment, and caregiver integration that the clinical system does not offer.  Every program begins with a movement assessment. Nothing is prescribed until readiness is confirmed. The methodology follows a documented adaptive training loop: Assess → Classify → Prescribe → Train → Reassess — with adaptive options at every stage.  Programs are delivered in-home or remotely throughout British Columbia. Caregiver integration is built into every program. The Preston Method™ is not a medical, physiotherapy, or rehabilitation service. It works alongside those services.  The Preston Method™ is licensed through Oasis Training & Education. Canadian Trademark Application #2460203.
