Vanessa is accredited as a Canadian Certified Counsellor (C.C.C.) by the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She holds a Master of Counselling degree, as well as a B.A., B.Ed., and an M.A. in Social Justice Education. She is currently also a school counsellor in the School District 46, and has also worked as a women's counsellor with the Sunshine Coast Community Services Society.
