This mobile program provides equipment for injection drug use and crack cocaine use, as well as condoms and other safer-sex items for the entire Lower Sunshine Coast including Egmont, Port Melon, Gibsons, Sechelt, and Medeira Park. We provide free, confidential and non-judgmental harm reduction services, with a particular focus on injection drug users and people who use crack cocaine, to reduce the spread of HIV and other communicable diseases such as Hepatitis. We offer needle exchange services to promote safe recovery and disposal of used needles. We provide education and facilitate access to testing and treatment for communicable diseases as well as referrals to counseling services.
