Parent-Tot Drop In - Gibsons & Sechelt
A free family resource program that offers a stimulating play group for children from birth to age six. Provides a place where parents can take a break from their home routine, connect with other parents and caregivers, and have fun playing with their children. Families can also access community resources, parenting information, and one-on-one support. Childcare providers and the children they care for are also welcome. PEACE (Prevention, Education, Advocacy, Counselling and Empowerment) Program for Children & Youth Experiencing Violence
Provides free individual and group counselling for children and youth ages three to 18 who have been exposed to family violence. Helps children and youth understand their emotions, discuss their trauma, develop a safety plan, recognize their strengths, increase their self-confidence, and understand that they are not responsible for the violence. Also provides individual and group support for the non-offending parent and caregivers. Serves the Sunshine Coast. Program hours vary. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).more info

Sexual Abuse Intervention Program (SAIP) - Sunshine Coast
Counselling is available to children and youth (ages 3-18) who have experienced sexual abuse and/or have sexual behavior problems. This includes children under the age of 12 with sexually intrusive behavior's. Service includes a range of appropriate and timely assessment, treatment and consultation to both children and their families. Program funding is provided by the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD). Services offered in Gibsons and Secheltmore info
