Provides free individual and group counselling for children and youth ages three to 18 who have been exposed to family violence. Helps children and youth understand their emotions, discuss their trauma, develop a safety plan, recognize their strengths, increase their self-confidence, and understand that they are not responsible for the violence. Also provides individual and group support for the non-offending parent and caregivers. Serves the Sunshine Coast. Program hours vary. People in chronic pain now have a place to meet, share their struggles and learn pain management techniques through the People in Pain Network (PIPN), which meets monthly in Sechelt. The PIPN offers free monthly meetings for chronic pain sufferers throughout B.C. and a new support group recently started in Sechelt.more info
